We currently are searching for an energized Engineer II .?The i deal candidate will have:
? ???????? Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology
? ???????? Extensive 3D CAD design experience, skills, and knowledge of equipment and/or vehicle design principles particularly related to large multi-component assemblies.? Siemens NX experience preferred or comparable CAD system is required.
? ???????? The ability to prepare production Assembly and BOM documentation and coordinate the manufacturing of design prototypes.
? ???????? Engineering knowledge to evaluate test results to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.?This role will work with research, testing and other engineering personnel to analyze and prepare design modifications as required.
? ???????? Experience evaluating and solving the design related issues that arise within manufacturing and/or production assembly.
? ???????? Knowledge of an Engineering Change System methodology and manage related documentation in accordance with MTD?s engineering policies.
? ???????? Experience in the design of sheet metal stampings, plastic components and castings/PM and their respective manufacturing processes.
? ???????? Excellent communication skills and proven experience interacting with Procurement group to finalize material and part specs.
? ???????? A disciplined and motivational personality.?Also self motivated, results oriented, and capable of a sustained and continuous effort
? ???????? Pride and commitment to accuracy, detail, and well thought out designs
? ???????? Thorough and consistent documentation habits paired with excellent organgizational and management skills.
? ?????? Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
