Crossovers: Do they interest you? Or how do they fare here?

On the much larger scope of things, I really enjoy Crossovers in nearly any genre. Marvel Comics did a wonderful job with their "Exiles" series, DC Comics and Marvel have even had crossovers from various timelines within their own universes. Kingdom Hearts is also another great example of a crossover within genres, combining both Final Fantasy and Disney characters within a much more intricate storyline.

I seem to be diverting off of the point of my interest thread however!

I am wondering if any players are interested in a crossover game on a somewhat expansive scale, where characters are brought from various fictional universes (much akin to Exiles) and are expected to work together in order to achieve some greater goal. Of course the players wouldn't be outright FORCED to work together and it would be completely by choice if they had a more independent personality.

Nearly any character would be allowed, and it would be much expected on the players behalf that if they were playing a God-like character (Thor for example), that they would know restraint and not abuse their abilities.

Thoughts? Comments?
